Yesterday I pulled the steering wheel and turn signal switch on the Riviera and ordered a new one ( plastic was broken from years of use) and improper installation! The plug ins at the bottom of the column are gone and the wires are twisted together soldered and taped and the color code is different! so I have a little extra work
hopefully the color code on the new switch matches the old harness ( that would save me a little work) But I don't Know what was done under the dash? The wiring is a mess of tape and twisted wire connections all the same color wires (red even the grounds)
UPS is bringing the new switch ( overnight) but it didn't come yet and its after 1pm and there's
a show in the morning the Customer wants to go to at 5AM
This Chrysler had transmission fluid put in during a fluid change, and power steering fluid put in the power steering during a hose repair last week!!
at a Quick lube, the owner didn't know and I got the call
(hey can you look at my car Ive got oil spots on the floor) I had to drain the trans, torque converter, and power steering and fill all with 10 wt. non detergent oil after that all was all well for the old Chrysler
Wow, the UPS truck just pulled in
