Guess I'm just to old to change to injection. I still love carbed engines, even though everything I hear about modern injection sounds so good. Carbs just look bettter, and I know how to tune them, so I'm staying with them.
Spent Sat. cleaning up the tunnel ram, and black valve covers for the Falcon gasser project. Then took trunk and door locks out and had keys made for them. Previous owner lost the keys after storing the car for 23 years.
Then in the afternoon I started cleaning the Austin gasser for the upcoming roadster show in Portland.
Haven't decided if I'll leave these as stripped, or have them polished out?
Tunnel ram was painted, and appears sanded under the paint, so I'll have to sandblast or polish it to get it looking better.
