That must have been wild walking thru there. I assume those cars are pretty much rusted out hulks now not worth rebuilding? Or do they look savable?

Replacing a mandrel housing on my mower today. I busted it up good. All 3 mounting points broken completely off. I am hoping to be able to work on my caddy this coming weekend.

Some are savable some are in really good shape, up off the ground on blocks others have been scavenged over the years. but the fenders, hoods and glass and deck lids and stainless and chrome are in really good shape It surprised me ! Im going back in the fall when the bushes lose their leaves! LOL Its against the rules for me to post a solicitation or phone # so Im sorry about that! LOL Or I would!!!!

Got that housing put in the mower. Ran it a little bit, pulled into the carport to gas it up and couldn't get it started again. Gonna charge it up again tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to get to work on the caddy this weekend.

Finished the blue print Wednesday on the 360, installed it yesterday, and ran initial break in today! Its an old 1/4 miler, was setting in the woods for 15 years! With 12.3s still on the windows! The old owner died and the family hated the car!!!! The new owner contracted me to do the engine, 4 speed, clutch & pressure plate rear differential, wiring and all repairs other then body work and paint. all I have left to do is install the hood! Its really fun to work on its going back the way it ran in the 70s Accel dual point , supercoil etc etc except for the big demon! it has Detroit Drag Way class winner stickers on it and even a Cheetah Valve body sticker and a Hastings Motor Honey sticker among others! LOL

Got caught in the rain at the Cleveland Tn cruise in. Just got the car cleaned up again. Started packing for the NSRA Nats in Louisville. Leaving Wed morning. My son in law has a '39 Chevy and lives in Nashville but has never made it. Every one needs to go at least once.

8 a.m Today I Filled the trans.,Put on and aligned the hood, installed a better air cleaner, adjusted the clutch ,road tested and said good by to the yellow duster!!!!

Came home and started Blue printing and mocking up another 360 for a dodge truck mild custom. And assembling a de-stroked 350 to 302 tunnel rammed chevy small block for my wife! And set up valve train geometry on the 302 and ordered custom length push rods today It will take about a week to get them! Just came in the house showered ate and am typing this Its been a long day! Oh and I found an old "moon" cool can that was in the duster ( bought it for 5 dollars) and im cleaning and polishing it up
