I miss every car or truck I sell and has been over 100 hotrods of some type, each one was special but your a bit different you have had yours a long time, me lucky to have anything for a years. Gasser still prevails though.

Finished up the chute release and cable today. While I had the lever off I drilled the holes out with a larger unibit; stepping them from top to bottom progressively larger. Tested it by putting a padlock through the chute loop so I could pull it without having to repack the chute!

Got a stanley tool cabinet and tool set for Christmas(the black friday 99 dollar deal). Put it together tonight. Going to have to clear out a spot for it. And last night I mocked up my shop press frame and measured some pieces to be cut. I bought a couple of grade 5 bolts 8 inches long and 1 inch in diameter to hold the working table so it can be adjusted if need be. Together they cost more than the jack I am using. 16 or 17 dollars for them and a couple of nuts. I paid 20 for two jacks. got the return springs for 50 cents a piece at a second hand store.

What a beautiful job you are doing and the shop is so nice, what a nice place to be putting something like that together.

I have been working like Santa's work shop on presents. I was blown away last night how fast I made up a ribbon holding thingie for my daughters craft room. Three hours start to finish, that Santa is working us like dogs over here!
