Rarely need AC here in Oregon in the garage or the home, but I do have a 35,000 btu space heater I fire up when it gets below freezing in the garage! Can't let the cold keep me from building!

Procrastinated, with a cup of Joe, about replacing the valve cover gasket on my wife's 2003 VW, Golf-GTI 1.8T, till nine, finding, naturally, that after tearing it down the timing belt looked like hell because of a failed idler with 20,000 miles on it, that no one has. But I did locate a belt and the identical bearing matching the one that had failed, so whatever. After That! I simply alphabetically organised last year's RO's for filing, that sucked a bit more, ain't that nuts........... But hey. It was a sunny day, blue sky's highs in the 10s with some snow. So I blew some doughnuts in the field, to calm my nerves.

I wouldn't say we got snow it looked more like a heavy frost LOL We had maybe an inch that pretty much turned into ice before it melted this morning. The weather men/women should all be ashamed of themselves for making such a big deal out of such a pathetic storm. Great looking work guys, sorry it has been a while since I have been on this thread. I haven't posted any pictures of my latest job, because the owner has me sworn to secrecy until its completed . Other than that everything is moving along nicely. The Camaro is partially blasted with the first coats of primer on most of the sheet metal and parts on order. The "secret" project is stripped down and ready to go on the rotisserie, and we have turned out 3 production jobs in the mean while and I plan to paint a 4th one tomorrow. It's been a little bit busy around here, but busy is goodKelly |
