When I sprayed the frame and firewall some overspray snuck under the cover and got on the paint so I did a little shoe shine tonight to clean it up. I will be finishing that up by this weekend hopefully and set out driving this baby.

Some years ago my wife and I started giving ourselves an allowance. We each take a couple hundred dollars the first of the month to do as we choose. It has worked out well. When I want a Christmas present I tell her what I want Santa to bring me. The family budget pays for it and I hoard my allowance.

Not a selfish bone in my body....

My wife was tickled pink when I told her I sold that solara for 1,500 and gave it all to her to do with as she pleased I said be sure to keep 200 for yourself to blow on something just for you and not to blow it ALLl on bills....Then she said :dont you need that 500 back to buy another car to fix and sell???? Your absolutely right ,I said but just hang on to it till I do....
Came in handy too ,I found an 02 Camery that dont run for 350.00 and bought it....shoot, I can get 500 for it at the scrap yard.
So I went out back to get my car trailer and its been sittin there so long the weeds had taken it over and I couldnt get it out ...tomorrow will be spent on the trailer and getting that camery....Then the landlord of the shop came by and wants his honda painted (hes cheaper than I am ) he said he couldnt afford more than 800.00 so we made a deal he buys the materials for around 300 and gives me 2 months rent free and its a done dealIn reality he's spending 2,300.00,,,I figure it'll take 30 hrs to do a nice respectable job for him...
So I'm just waiting for that storm to hit me because it seems like im sitting right in the middle of the eye where everything is nice.....
