I honestly feel like I am looking at a NASA project, only way better detailed. But really, the construction reminds me of a space ship, damn that thing is cool!

If there are no photos, it didn't happen. At least that's what they say on this thread.

I wasn't going to go out there at all today. After this weekend and the day I had today, I am bushed. But when I got home there was an eBay purchase (We call them Christmas presents around my house) on the dining table. It was a window stop that I somehow lost in the years the car was apart. So I figured I walk out there and put it in, that would be my five minutes. Well, I looked at the clock and walked out, I had it done in 2 minutes. So I went ahead and started on the carpet.

I got a tiller all put together yesterday (I had to tear it back apart to redrill and tap out five holes, for the pull cord assembly mounts)
so nothing left but to make some adj. and its ready to go

good thing, because I was in a little trouble
the wife got antsy and wanted to make the first pass on her garden on sun.
so she had to use my little tiller and it took twice as long

Do you have just the one Pink Flamingo or are you a breeder?

LT1, that is one incredible car, the next time I am out that way I would love to see it. Matt, that wife is a keeper! Any gal that will work like that gets a in my book.

I am still helping my neighbor with his 58 Chev Impala, it's going to be a beauty. He sold his 40 Ford coupe today (about broke my heart), I hauled his trade-in (partial trade) home, a 65 El Camino, not a speck of rust, great body, straight, bed is just as nice, a blown up SBC under the hood, it's been in a garage for 20 years. 5 K allowed for the Camino, 20k for the 40. I'll see if I can find some pics. Now I am defrosting/cleaning the fridge, it's making a weird funny noise ever now and then, hoping it just need to be blown out in the back.

I did get the waste gates and dump tubes installed today and finished the upper section of the firewall. I can't believe how long it takes me to find the fasteners to install stuff.

I feel so inadequate after looking at your pics! What a gorgeous piece of work!

I am working some hard days at work and just don't feel like going out to the garage. I came home and started towards my work clothes and just said damn it I can't go out there to night and gave up. Then in that very same second DBM popped in my head telling me to get the hell out there I said, I am going to get out there right now and work for five minutes at least. I did just that, got out there and found that my carpet is working out great, I had some doubts, but I went out there and kicked it's ars and got the front piece all straightened up and holes in it. I went and got the console out of the shed and lined it all up and will get it in as soon as the area carpet is finished. I got the rear in there and fit, it's looking real good!

ME???? LOL .I got YOU in the back of my head...
yesterday I took some time and made the hammerforms for my fender skirts.I think I nailed the shape ,according to my helper anyways ...I'll let you guys be the judge...I've been taking the car out for a quick spin every day since Sunday and giving the guys at the neiboring shops rides,Its awsome, the positive responses I'm getting are very cool....Hopefully I'll get one of them to take a video today..watch something break
OH yeah I hauled my 85 Iroc up to the shop I bought it for all the parts to build my 54 PU but I might just fix the fuel pump and sell it...I think that money would be better spent on tires and wheels for the 48..
