Got the colour put on around the windshield. The colour doesn't match perfectly and my tape lines are horrendous but that's OK.

Oh yeah, I also installed a nice palm print on the A pillar when I went to remove a trim off the A pillar to change the door weatherstrips.

Lol,That reminds me of another thread where someones uncle did the same thing but in primer...If your dead taping, yellow and white are probably some of the hardest colors to match...you can also blend SS colors ,its pretty much like blending a base but you only need clear on the blend panel.

Thanks Brian! I told my buddy I was gonna keep it and give them one of the old trophies I have gotten from previous shows!
They always have some cool hand made trophies built from old car parts, so hope mine stands up to the others!

Well, it sure as heck wasn't much but I got out there for my five minutes, it turned into about 15. Got one part installed on the top (don't know the name of it, a trim piece). Wasn't much, but it was more than the previous week so I feel better. Got a plan for tomorrow.

Paint done and glass squeezed into the rubber strip.

Just have to slide in the middle chrome strip w/o screwing it up tomorrow.
I always turn the tool at the wrong angle are scrape it all to heck.

Like the trophy a lot. I have been out of the loop for a few days but glad to be back. Not had time to do much but started the patterns for the rumble seat. Looking forward to having something to get excited about pretty soon.

Looks great! I need to install a new rubber, or reinstall the rubber on my '69 Burb. Just got to get to it before summer is over!

While I am not a trophy hound, Anyone who says they don't enjoy winning a trophy probably lies about other things too. To win a trophy with that much thought and effort put into it has to mean a lot. While most trophies collect dust in the corner, that one will be a conversation piece for years to come.

I always say, the guys who say they don't care about the trophies are the guys who having won any.

Today I got out there (after putting in a little control valve for the shower after the wife mentioned it had too high of pressure. ) to the garage and installed the tack strips to the header.

Brian
