Dont need a title here either just a bill of sale.If I had an 85 or newer vehicle I would need a title but if it was lost I can get a bonded title for 100.00 and put it on the road as long as its not stolen ,they check that along with a basic inspection ,horn, lights brake lights...no emissions test though.... Theres always a way to get one legal .....Thats a nice truck .....

Well I went out there and put my first staples in my top, well in the top pads. I need to regroup just a little bit and think about what I am doing but it looks all good. Just getting my feet wet.

I'm still cutting and grinding ,making headway, getting the one piece glass in.got a new window template made from plexiglass ,it had to be wider than the first so it goes farther down into the door so the regulator can mount to it and it can run down the channels...then I cut out the inner door so I could get in there easier to work then I got my power lock set in ,its just sitting there with one bolt right now today I'll get it finished..I also cut the piller where the old striker was and filled it with a new piece of steel to mount the new striker..This latch out of an Impala fits almost like it was made for this car one of the bolt holes even lined up.found some window run channel seals from soft seal from a 68-74 nova that seems to work perfectly.
Today I'll mount the front window channel ,cut the V in the door for the latch so the striker can make contact then mount the striker...mabee I'll have time to mount the pwr regulator and window....
The sheet will hit the fan soon though I have an 04 Titan that side swiped a tree leaving a nice imprint of that tree in the rear wheel opening which I fixed friday but theres three little dents in the tailgate he wanted to fix...Thats what I went in to do sunday but I sat down and started looking at the 48 for 5 min and ended up working on it instead ,now its Tuesday and I still havent touched that gate ...I imagine he'll be calling today but if he dont I'll be hot and heavy on the 48....

It went away when Jon sold it and I am so damn sick and tired of MY last photo. It couldn't have been some cool hot rod, it had to be a damn commercial van!

Here is a thread on the subject..feedback on new "Last photo" feature

We need to start screaming so they take it away or activate it or SOMETHING for goodness sakes. Yep, this is what happens when big brother takes over.

I hated it at first but grew to love it too. Jon, oh he sold and ran like the cops were chasing him.

By the way, we ALL need to start a new thread in the "site suggestions" if it's something you want, post a new thread, not just add to the one I did. I think "they" (big brother) will see it more than simply adding posts to mine. But you can do that too. BOTH should be done, add posts AND new threads.

47 IH headlights

I bought a pair of headlight rings for an antique ford and welded them on my IH and made some brows. I like it.it adds some style to the front of the fender.

Looks good Nissan.

I think it is time I teach everyone the Lynn Yearwood theory of street rod fabrication. Lynn has been a friend of mine for years. One day he told me he went to the garage every day after work. Maybe he could only stay for 10 minutes but he would go anyway. As Lynn explained, "Even if I don't do anything but put in 2 bolts a day that is 14 a week, 62 a month and 742 a year. I can build any car in 2 years."

Hence, the Lynn Yearwood theory of street rod fabrication.

Y'all get back out in the garage now. I have a rumble seat to finish.
