Today a ditching bucket off a long reach excavator showed up. It looks like they tried to drive pile/rocks with it. There was no cutting edge and the moldboard is wore back to the bolts so that needs to be replaced. I can't say anything I used to be an operator.

I got an adaptor made up for my hood to fit my rotisserie. I will take it with me next week when I head down to Dutch Comstock's Metal Meet.

I have a few 8 tracks, my favs I kept for old times sake, KISS Detroit Rock City is one of them.

Today I ***** footed around the top a little more. I will jump into it tomorrow night or Saturday. But tonight I got the well stapled to the trim stick. I decided to do it like it was from the factory. Not for originalities sake but because I don't have a sewing machine to make the well work after, it would have been a pain so I chose to make the pain now instead. We will see how wrong I am.

I have 2 Kiss 8 tracks and every 8 track Beatles that came out at the time The Rollers are degrading on a lot of the tapes! I guess the material wasn't designed to last this many years!

I have many albums< plus 1 gold clear and one red clear Elvis LP's !

Today I was setting up a 340 dodge blue printing the valve train Need to order custom made push rods the sizes I need arn't available! It became too hot in the garage even with fans
So now Im working on keeping cool its supposed to hit 99 today but my 2 thermometers say its 99 now and their in the shade and its 3:19 pm so it may get hotter! Ill be going back out this evening when it cools down to work some more!!

Chris

I am glad it didn't have four lug wheels because then it would be a 6 cyl. Damn there was a good question on the trivia thread.

Finally got a bit of a cool down weather wise here in Colorado so I color sanded & deglossed the cab and doghouse. Next up.. re-assembly which is sure to be a rewarding time.

This is what the paint looks like after the sanding and scotchbriting!
Next step is wiping the surface with "Purple Power cleaner and degreaser", which cuts the gloss.
And here it is after wiping down with water:
