with all these mods i ran it through desktop dyno and i am getting a 330hp@5000 and 392ft lb's@4000 (with a motor like that in an 5th gen El Camino somewhere between 3600-4000lbs, what kind of 1/4 am i looking at)
Should be a fun ride, getting the rears to hook is another thing. I have 400 sbc in my Jag, with a performer and Q-jet and an very mild cam. my car weighs about the same as your El Camino and it will definitely scoot. I don't do burn outs the I've already blown one rear end out (mechanical failure due to lack of fluid) and that set me back 1200.00. Beside with the price of tires I'd rather spend the cash elsewhere. You might want to look into a set of Vortec heads and have the steam holes machined into them. That will get ya a few more pony's.
