Sometimes it isn't about the trophies...

To me... The car you build is the only trophie you should need..

I agree, and it's nice to have people acknowledge your hard work with a trophy, but it's surely not the reason to build a car. If you're building just to get trophies, then you can buy trophies cheaper than you can build a car!

Hey John, sounds like you think of reasons to drive also! I can make up any number of reasons to take the car for a spin! And when the sun comes out, it's even easier!

Very true..

There is some that go after that big trophy..I will have more fun just letting the people that watched my build on line see it in person... The only way to do that is to bring it to them.. So they can see it first hand..

The passion it takes to build a real show car is much the same as doing any other personal thing for your own satisfaction. Be it learn some songs on an instrument or singing, you shoot for the best you can. Or hiking a hill or mountain in a certain time, trying to better your time each time you go.

If one is doing it FOR the trophy and the slap on the back, I just can't understand that.
