What to do? Decisions, desicisions. Help!!

Hey All.
Getting ready to refinance my house for a lower intrest rate and get some xtra cash to buuild my garage.
Problem I face is this. Im wanting to build my new motor for the Gremlin and I wanted a blower motor. It will cost me about 2500 bucks more than a good naturally aspirated motor, but look so cool.
I also want an 8000lb car lift inj my garage to easily work on cars and its the kind that you can store your car on it, so you can still park another car in the garage and save space. It will cost about 2200 bucks.
I can only get one! Not sure which one I want. Easy to use car lift or 550 horse blower poking thru the hood.
What would you do? HG

to have a lift or build the blower motor

Man that is one heck of a choice. I would go with the lift. The blower motor must be built up as a package, not just the pump but everything must come together to build a blower motor. I'd save up for the parts for the blower setup from the ground up and buy the parts and set on them till I had everything! I sure wish I had a lift!!

i would take the lift any day (unless i already had one).
i know you will love that lift when your doing oil changes and such, and you can always build that bad ***** motor later.

Thumbs up

We are retiring next year and will be building an new log home in the mountains of Arizona. One thing I told my wife was that if she can have the Kitchen of her dreams (we're designing the house) I get a lift. When I retire my days of laying under a car on a cold concrete floor in the dead of winter are over!

Go for the lift. Tools you need, engines you can build anytime.

all i can think of is.....

the blower engine sitting on a stand in the shop, waiting for completion, and you need to put a car up on a lift, and don't have it......
GET THE LIFT!!!
