what do i do about inside the pannels?

I have read up alot on what the proper rust treatments are, and the dangers of sandblasting. However I am completely lost on what to do inside of my panels still....I was thinking about taking off what i could and sand blasting the inside of them to remove lose rust. then spraying on a rubber undercoating spray with anti-rust additive to keep the rust away. Then i heard of how bad sandblasting is. I am terrified that i am going ot spend tons of time and money on the exterior, just to have it rust through from the back. I am cutting away the lower rot and replacing them with new lower halves from JCW. However what should i do with the rest of it?
please, help a newb out
thanks~

If the inside of your panels are rusty then I'd say this is the perfect place for POR15 followed up by a coating of 3M's Rustfighter cavity wax type corrosion protector. If the inside of the panels are clean bare steel or clean primer then I'd just coat them with epoxy primer and follow up with the rustfighter. What you want is a product that will leach into nooks and crannies, fill pinchwelds, and will be forever soft and self healing-(waxy). Bottom line is if you can keep oxygen from making contact with the steel the rust will not start and rusted areas will go dormant untill the protecting surface is broken. All of these old cars have areas that are impossible to clean, treating them with corrosion protection type coatings is your only option. JMO Bob
