What do I need to monitor running usage?

I know I read somewhere about adding a timer to the compressor circuitry.

What type and where would I buy a timer to add to my compressor so I can track the hours that the motor and compressor are on?

Also I would need some insight on how to wire it into the current circuit.

ThanX

all you would need is a hour meter commeted to the power to the motor after the auto switch

might as well get a auto dump for the bottom of the tank too

that was one of the 1st things I used to do when going into a new shop/job is drain the air tank and check the oil in the unit

I've drained some that took over a hour to get it out the water running out into the parking lot

then off to fix the leaking air hoses MAN that drives me nutz
