What do impala brakes interchange with?

Our local parts store only goes back like 25 years and not even that far on some things. Any of you know what vehicle made in the last 20 years by chev would use the same rear drum shoes as the front of a 69 impala. I'm thinking maybe s10 but wondering if somebody has cross reference. Thankyou all

Start by finding a real auto parts store. Even Advance Auto has a listing for this car. So does Rockauto.com. At a minimum, go on line, get the correct part number, and have your local store search for that part number.

They should have a paper catalog with listings that supplement what's in the computer. They should also have somebody that knows how to use the paper catalog.

95 impala has a 12" rotor that I used in a 80 camero sub frame but in a 69 you might have to use the A frames and spindle then you might have a problem with the linkage which wouldnt be a problem with a rack & pinion all junk yard stuff. its just bolt on stuff with an 80ish camero (Without the rack)not to sure with the 69 but there is a kit available for 69 camero, it should be the same.....www.impalaparts.com ... Caliper mounting brackets 95.00 pr calipers 39.00 ea, rotor 85.00ea., but you can get the calipers and rotors at a discount auto supply cheaper. The mounting brackets are the important piece to get if you keep your spindles....pt#5964BCMB tel#1-800-8467252

My 69 Impala also had discs on the front. My Uncle was mad cause his 69 Caddy didn't.
