what do u guys think, engine,trans,converter, or flexplate ???



its my friends turbo v6 camaro noticed it when he got home form the track

im willing to bet flexplate since ive broken them before
i just dont rember it having as much of a ring to it as what u hear in the video

thats what my flexplate looked like after i broke it they just dont hold up to 400+ftlbs of tq unless u reinforce them around the mounting holes

Almost sounds like a heat riser on an exhaust manifold.

not possible on this car it has custom turbo headers on it

Is there any kind of gate on the turbo system that might make this noise?

u guys arent going to belive this, i told him to pull the serpintine belt off just to be 100% sure it wasnt an accesory.

turns out the bolt on the rear bracket for the power steering pump lossened up and alowed the pump to flex just enough to make all that noise.

tightened the bolt up on the bracket and no more noise
