What do you guys think of this??
I have a chance to buy a BBC 461. Here is what I know is in it. It does not have an intake so I need suggestions there also.
Forged TRW Pistons w/ Moly rings (supposedly LS6 pistons) #215 Cast Heads (port work or valve size not known so will assume stock) 1.7 Scorpion Roller Rockers (both int. & exh.) 260 Dur. .629 Lift Comp Cam (solid) Now, I have a set of 781 heads off a 402. Which do you think would be better for a 1/4 mile bracket motor?

Both have the same valve size. The 215's have 100cc chambers compared to the 781's 113cc. Slightly more compression with the 215s.
For a strip car I'd go with something like a Edelbrock Victor or similar, etc.. http://www.chevymania.com/partsid/pa...p=head&block=B
