I vote for bc/cc, I feel it is the easiest as well as the best looking. Go down to your neighborhood autobody paint store and talk with them, see what they have to offer. Just about every paint company offers a good product.

What paint brands do you have available to you? Some buy over the net, I feel you have to be well versed in the products before you should try this. Find yourself a paint store near you so you can go in and talk to people in person. Pickup a little and spray it and get the feeling for it, that sort of thing.

I'm with martinsenor on the base clear. I do agree that by, buying in your own town is a good thing as far as if you run short on product or have issues, with its performance,(every paint company makes a bad batch from time to time) that would make it much easier to get corrected, but keep in mind alot of the paint guys at the parts store are glorified parts men, they have never used the products they are selling(IT IS A FACT). On the other hand I would have to say that you run the risk of not getting the best product for the money, But as senor said if your not well versed in what your doing and the products your working with you gamble buying off the net or from a distributor that is not local. With that said I would say buying spi products is an exception to the rule. They will help you in any way they can to see that you achieve a respectable finished product. I can say this because I have spent hours talking with Barry K about products and procedures. Ive done bodywork for 15+ years and will be the first to admit,if someone will give professional unbiased advise I will listen. Barry helped me dial in some du-pont clear I have been shooting with out the best results. The verdict, simply amazing and he doesn't sell du-pont but he helped me any way. I myself am switching to spi when i finish off the du-pont i have. Their products are very reasonably priced and like I said their tech support is second to none
