what do you think of a bolted on scoop
living in socal near the beach and keeping my metal 66 mustang hood i have been told that when putting on the scoop to bolt it on instead of bond. I was told by a person who works specificaly with mustangs that where i live and because of the temp and moisture that i should go with the bolted on.
**** does any1 have pics of a scoop boloted on they are very hard to find.

Looks like %$#@% in my opinion. Is it a metal scoop or fiberglass? I see no reason not to bond it on if it is performed right. I have seen fiberglass scoops first rivited on then blended with fiberglass resin.
