3.42 and no overdrive with small tires is what will slow your top speed.
I have 30" tires on my pickup with 3.42 and a TH 350/305. I can run about 110 on a cool evening so you'll be over that :p |

Changing the hp and torque (figured it to be around 360 ft lbs of torq., being it had been modified a bit), that takes you to about 14.13 et , 87.1 mph @5500rpm, and top speed of 87.1 @ 5500rpm. Looks like the th350 is holding you back abit...

Try these guys on for size. They helped me to select the proper gear set and tire combination for a top speed run.
