My 1962 Falcon on the drag strip. Not real fast, but I have fun
Inline 6 of 200 CID with some mods to the engine. Milled head, Holley 2 barrel 500 CFM, Clay Smith cam, headers, digital ignition, C-4 trans, 4.11 gears (posi) in 8 inch diff, drag radials

The sound kinda sucks ... and so does the video! ![]() My Kodak "point-and-shoot" had some kind of noise-cancelling feature, and that is pretty much what you really hear. I should have had someone there to do it that wasn't quite as involved as I was. This was the intial break-in ... the one that wiped a cam lobe, so consider it to be more like a "how-not-to" video. ![]() I didn't video the current configuration, but it now has quite a bit "lopier" idle and really snaps when you blip the throttle. |

He drove that car everywhere to honor his son and used it as a platform to speak out against drunk driving and how to move on after losing a kid. My point is; Build it the way you want; its the only truly right way. |
