They were still doing it in 78
My buddy had a 78 Z28 and he was at the car was one day cleaning his car. He had some crap on the trim around the window so he gave it a blast with the pressure wash and the paint peeled off. I realize it wasn't chrome but S.Steel instead. My 2 cents.
