What does heavy beam rod mean?
I was looking at a engine on a web-site (blueprint engines) and they stated that a particular 383 had "chevy heavy beam rods" What does that mean? Thanks.

I don't know what that means,but they had a guy selling a 427 bbc in my local paper a while back and said it had high beam rods.I don't know what that means either.Could some one clarify these.

"Heavy beam rods" sounds like double-speak to sell. Ask them to clarify exactly what they mean and you may never get an answer.
