Hello , I'm new here and just recently bought a S10 with a 383 stroker. I'm trying to figure out what I have because the previous owner gave me some false information.
Ok here's my question, I have an 830 Holley stamped 9381 over 2962, what does 2962 stand for?

He's what I found out about it so far. It's a 383 externally balanced, Edelbrock E-tec 200 heads, 830 holley, RPM Air-gap intake, long tube headers with boler(sp) mufflers, MSD 6a ignition, and a hard hitting cam. I'm pretty sure it has hydraulic lifters but not sure if they are roller lifters or not. It does have steel roller rockers.
It is supposed to have flat top pistons but I don't know for sure. It has a stall converter, suppose to be a 3500 stall. It has a th350 trans with the kick down cable disconnected and a B&M shifter.
The guy I got it from claimed it has 500 hp , I don't know if that's so or not but it has more than I can use without burning the 295/50/15 rear tires off.

Here's a picture of what it looked like when I bought it. I have been working on cleaning up the mess of wires but don't have much time to do it. I only get a couple hours every other week to work on it.
