I cant notice the miss while driving, so maybe only shows up when the converter locks up..........I just notice and occasional miss in park........and i did try to unplug the connector just to see what it would do........of course I got the code 26(quad driver circuit) and a code 31 (park neutral switch).......and yes the shaking went away...........so if the engine does have a miss.........converter lockup would piss it off

60* - 2.8, 3.1, 3.1Turbo, 3.4 DOHC.

The 3.8 is a 90* v-6, But their transmission section deals somewhat with the same transmission you have and its a common problem.
