What exactly is my chevy engine?
Your engine appears to be a 350,built August 8th 1970 at the Flint Michigan plant,4 bolt mains, was in a 1/2 or 3/4 ton with a 3 speed tranny.

Thanks for the quick response. Is there any (negative) significance to the T (truck) part of the suffix? This engine is in my 1970 firebird that I'm planning on building up. Does it seem like a good start?

What exactly is my chevy engine?
I'd say that should be a very good engine to build.
Or,if you'd like something a little different,I have a very good 1968 Pontiac 400 4bbl. in my '57 GMC I'm planning to swap out,so it'll be available soon. I'd trade it for a good GMC 270 or 302 straight six. Speed |
