Looks like a special "Shelby" center cap for a Cragar S/S wheel. I'd be willing to bet some Shelby collector would LOVE to have that.

I know a guy that can find out but it will take a couple 3 days. His Brother-In-Law has a Mustang & Shelby parts business. I'll see what I can find out.

Is the back flat or concave?
Does it look like it had adhesive on it?
Could be a dash or fender emblem!?!?
Maybe steering wheel center!?!
How big is it?
Shifter emblem?!?!
I think if you stick it to your Honda it will give you at least 10 horsepower,oh I'm sorry thats the type "R" sticker that does that..

It looks just like a Cragar center cap, and the idea was brought up that it would make a great belt buckle!

I am thinking that this may be where something like the item shown would have resided.

Later,

Weimer, I'm thinking you're right. I had a pair of Cragar G/T wheels many years ago that looked very similar to those except they weren't polished and I recall seeing the polished or chrome version advertised as a Cragar S/S which threw me at the time because they weren't what we all know as a Cragar S/S. ??????

I'd start watching ebay for Shelby center caps and see if any show up. Like I said, some Shelby guy out there would probably be proud to own that.
