What is a fair price to have my rearend rebuilt?
I have a stock 67 non posi rearend in my nova(gm 8.2,10 bolt,28spline).I want to have it rebuilt with an eaton posi and 3.55 gear.What is a fair price to have this rearend rebuilt?Not including parts.thanks bm

I had the 12bolt on my blazer rebuilt for $135 with parts I bought from another source. Took rearend out and down to the shop. They said it would cost another hundred if the rearend was still on the vehicle.
My friend has took his jeep into the same shop and had a posi unit installed and it cost him around $700 for everything.

$150 to $200 labor is about right. A new ring and pinion will cost about $150, bearings, seals, gasket and lube another $100+.
