Sadly I think my turbo sprint is it, factory 1/4 mile time of 16.8... I have ridden an 02 R6 which is i'm guessing 10-11 seconds, just rode it around a big mall parking lot after it closed so there was only a handful of vehicles left but damn did that thing hit 100km/h fast!

I've had both my turbo sprint and my t-bird up to 165kph, sprint wouldnt go any faster and the thunderbird was getting sketchy so I stopped but it wanted to keep going with the 2:43 gears in the back..

Worked at a car dealer in the early eighty's when I was kid washing cars, so I drove all the new and used cars from the lot to the wash bay. One day I had to wash a '69 Corvette convertable with a four speed. It was red with a white top. Couldn't go any where, but just goosing it in first was cool to me at the time. I'm sure thats the fastest stock car I've ever driven. Also had a V-8 Monza come in. Don' think that was stock though.

I did drive an early eighty's Z-28 at my sisters wedding reception. Someones boyfriend was all juiced up and he offered to let me drive it so I did, got rubber in the first three gears till I had to slow down cause we were in the city.

all factory car?...69 pontiac grand prix SJ 455 HO 4 speed..my uncle had one..he used to let me take it out on cruise nights & me & freind had it up to 130 along side a 68 vette when we both quit & it seemed like it wanted MUCH more before i let off...these seem to be underestimated old muscle cars & somewhat forgotten & they werent quite as heavy as most people thought...

Fastest stock car was a 69 Cobra Jet Mustang, 428 - 2X4 $-Speed. It was a little quicker than my 69 Cobra Jet Fairlane. My friends Original 427 Cobra was very impressive but I was afraid to really drive it hard.

The fastest street car was my 92 Mustang. It ran 9.20 @ 149 and was Licensed and inspected.

fastest factory car ever driven

Its a '68 Firebird with a supercharged 428 pushing around 700 hp and street legal. I'm still driving it and I haven't been beat on the street yet. Latest victim was a '06 z06 vette. Left him awestruck.

what is the fastest (factory) car you have ever driven?

A few... a 1979 Ferrari Berlinetti Boxer... a 1973 Alfa Romeo Montreal... a 1955 Mercedes Benz SLR... a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T with a Petty Enterprises 440 Magnum, slapstick-equipped Torquefile 727A and Talledega gearing... a 1984 Swedish Turbo Carerra.... the first Viper with the six speed and a Hennessy build... the "Atomic Pickle" which was the first supercharged Panoz Roadster built for Don by son Dan... Saleen Mustang #0129.... and for just flat out open road speed, a Lamborghini Diablo.
