last summer I had the chance to drive a 04 mustang svt cobra. it was amazing. if ford can do anything like that to the new body style it would definatly have me trying to find some money! That car had so much pull I was giggling for days.

83 Ferrari 512 BBi. US spec, otherwise virgin stock. At the time my daily driver was a 70 454 Chevelle. Not a maxxed out hot rod but headers and average gear and ran pretty well. I didn't expect much from the Ferrari. And I was dead wrong. That thing had TQ that started in Miami Beach and finished at Sault St Marie!!! I hit the freeway and had the road all to myself. 150MPH came up so fast I had to wait for my soul to catch up. I slowed to 80 and felt like I was crawling. The trip was from Lansing MI to Dearborn MI which is usually 90mins give or take. I made it in less than an hour. I topped it out at 165MPH in one stretch and it had more (as I recall that model was tested at 180 top speed). On the return trip a guy in a Mustang GT with all the usual mods of the time worked through local traffic to catch up and hung in until we got out of town and in wide open space. He pulled up next to me and gestured sort of "let's go" so I waved him on. I dropped to 4th gear and stayed just behind his veiw till he was all in, somewhere around 120-125...then I smacked it full on, shifted to 5th, and politely waved as rose again to 160. I still want one to this day.

My fastest car has to be a 1991 Buick Regal Custom. This car was white with a red interior. The owner before me had supposidly done a ton of work to the motor and transmission, I have no clue what he did to the motor but the car had the 3800 V6 motor in it and I would easily outrun a GT mustang at any speed. My buddies all had 6 cly camaroes and probes and the such, and I would give them a hard time about my granny ride being able to run right by them and leave a two 30 ft trails of rubber

For me it would be AJ Foyt's Viper he had on consignment at a shop I was working for. Of course, my fiance's Aunt was having fun with him when he was in town at the time (don't know if she still is or not).

I must assume your funny little story was meant for me...but ok.

Since I know the facts and you don't, you can have your little bit of fun AND exercise your free speech.

Facts don't change though.

Sorry Lonestar! I was just trying to be funny! I really am not worried about what, who has ridden in! If I was a betting man, I would bet that at least 1/3 of the posts on this thread are B.S. but I don't know, some people live alot higher on the hog than I do!!! Again, I meant no ill will towards ANYONE!

Think about what went through my mind when I and my lady spent the night at her Aunt's only to get up in the morning to have breakfast with Foyt.
