While I was driving the dragster a kid in a 91 Regal pulled up to the light next to me. We raced, and he beat me! He said the engine and trans had a ton of work done to it though. The 17 yearold that works for BMW didn't want to race me in the Ferrari he borrowed, but I think I would have beat him.

One time, In band camp, We took the counselor's cavalier to the dragstrip, without him knowing, and ran a 10 second quarter mile. It was hopped up with a three quarter race cam and three and a half inch headers and a holley 12-pack. Top speed was over 160 I believe, the speedo went around three times and ended up at 45.

That's pretty pathetic!!!! Just kidding.

I did drive an original 427 Cobra down at Gingerman once, but it was not stock.

At the risk of being heckled I will just say the fastest car I've ever driven is the one in my driveway- which is why I bought it.

Except it's far from stock, which means I shouldn't have posted to this thread. Sorry.

I'm not calling you a liar exactly. But I would be very surprised if your car is knocking down low 14's (Mustang GT area). Take it to the track. So far it seems like you've only paired off with V6 Camaros. Assuming they are the quicker 3.8L Camaros, they are still only 16 second cars.
