I would try 80 first and see how well it cut if this is OEM paint only.
36 will get it done but I only go that radical if the 80 dosen't "cut it" so to speak. It's a lot more work to bring 36 up to 80 and I'm all for less work.
Point being,It takes say 2 day's to 36 it and then another 2 day's to bring it up to 80 for epoxy. vs. 2 1/2-3 day's to use 80 and be done. JMO.
