What happened to Ignition Man? - The good and bad of Ignition part brands

I'm just after some advice and Ignition Man seemed really switched on with what I'm chasing. But he seems to be gone? Anyone have an email address for him?

That aside, I'm in Australia, so all the good stuff you guy's have at hand is twice the price and twice as hard to find some one knowledge up on what there selling.

I'm wondering regarding Spark Plug Wires (we call them Ignition leads)

What's the good ones to look for an what's the bad ones to run from.
I want them for my SBC with the TPI set up.

I'm also wondering is Mallory still made in the USA

Doc here,

Ignitionman/AKA/ unknown poster/AKA/Dave RAY ..Has been banned from this site for several violations of our policy's ... AND TOS violations.

It is also my understanding that our's is not the only site to do this.

Should you want to read a brief statement about this from the Administration, There is a thread in the READ ME Section at the top of the engine forum.

As far as spark plug wires (ignition leads) go, just about any of the major brand names are good wires these days. MSD, Taylor, Moroso, Accel, personally I wold stay away from house brands, like from your local auto parts stores, or mail order house brands. The 8mm wires are very popular with rodders.

I've been using Borg-Warner Select, the gray ones with the spiral metal core. I don't like carbon-core wires. They are special-order-only at O'Reilly's around here, costing $30-$35 for a V-8. If B-W parts are available in Oz, you might look into those.
