A buddy of mine at work took a pic of this car sitting out in the middle of nowhere in the Big Bend area. We have been trying to identify it but so far have come up short. Does anyone out there know what we are looking at? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Notice the fresh air intake in the cowl? Model 'A' had the gas tank there. The cowl is also too short front to rear to be Model 'A'. The windshield appears to have a slight curve on the sides at the lower section.
Not sure of the make, but more than likely from the early '30's.
my guess is a late 20's (28-29) "Fordoor" (nick name for four-door sedans) Which is a model A. not wantin to argue, i have seen A's with a cowl instead of a gas tank. dunno if that was stock or not.
hey, any of those tins (fenders, i seen another body, ect) fer sale?
Huppmobile or Essex would be my guess.
