Now with the recent ricer invasion all acrross America with the fast and furious movies and with sometimes unwanted questions on here... I thought, and thougth and thought. Let's reverse this thought process. I wonder what it would look like if I made my old 38 into a ricer. Lets try some tribal flames, some low profile tires and big rims. How about a big whiney muffler and a double spoiler? Oh yea! How about some neons. Hmmmm. I really like the neon idea. I think I may use that one. Anyway I made up a picture of my old 38 and copied a dozen or so just to try out paint schemes and ideas on. So if you go into my photo album you'll see my what if I made my 38 a ricer mobile. I printed one but you couldn't see it very well so I tried to darken it a little. So you'll find 2 pics of it. I couln't figure out how to delete the one I didn't want. You may get a kick out of it. I did doing it.

Cool! I would get rid of the flames though, they're old school. I say throw in a yellow paint job with racing stripes that totally don't match and stickers, lots of stickers!

flames are old skool. for a true riceboy feel,,, you do need yellow, and stickers.....Anyody know the japanese word/symbol for HOTROD?

You need to ditch the flames and add the dragons and horses...at least that is what the rice around here is doing.
You also need to add strobes to all of the lights.

Tribal flames are old school? Man, I just got into this ricer thing and I'm already behind the times. Was hoping you guys would get a kick out of it.

i wonder what kind of market there is for ricer wings for old american cars? you could probably make a killing off the tuner crowd, but i shudder to think about a 56 chevy rollin' with a triple decker.........
and i really like the little lited valve cover jobbies. and I do think i'm gonna install a set of those windsheild washer lites on my truck. (i don't even have a windsheild washer)

Don't forget the 'go-fast' ricer windshield wiper blades.

ROTFLMAO. The flames look too "proper", paint a big "R" on the side about 3 feet tall and have it all stretched out like it's blurring from the speed. And you need some completelly tasteless ground effects that will catch on the tar strips in the highway.

That is still too clean looking. I can help you out in 10 easy steps.

1.Gotta have the big R going up the side.

2. Forget wipers..you only need one real big one in the middle of the windshield.

3.Like stated above, you need to break out the plywood and bondo and make a big Darth Vader lookin set of ground effects...dont paint them to match the car. Cut the springs so that the car bounces everywhere and your plywood scrapes.

4.You are gonna need fake carbon fiber EVERYWHERE...dont forget to cover the hood in it as well!

5. Its all about the VTEC stickers...ther more the merrier.

6. You are right on track with the Neons, but dont forget the LED exhaust tips. Also...Blue headlights.

7. You need a BIG tach. Maybe even two of them. Even if you dont have a turbo/supercharger, get a boost guage and one of those fake blow off valves.

8. You are gonna need a "system". Whatever you do, dont make it sound good. If your subs distort and there are no mids or highs, then you have hit the jackpot.

9. No ricer is complete without NAWWS!! Get you a propane tank and paint it blue. Hell, get a couple of them. Mount them in the back seat. Just make sure you have room for the rollbar you are gonna make out of PVC. Mount a chrome fire extinguisher on the roll bar.

10. You need a pair of pants that you have to hold on to or they fall to your ankles. Go to the big and tall section. You will need a wife beater and a Fubu visor(yellow to match your "ride"). Remember to wear it upside down and crooked.

REMEMBER...IF IT SAYS APC...BUY IT!

Now brush up on your ebonics and practice your ricer fly by's cause you are now a true ricer!
