On the intake I use a Victor Jr. EFI intake on the S-10. The Victor is a great intake for any 2500-7500 RPM engine IMO. On my '57 I use a Holley Strip Dominator. It is very similiar to the victor, but just a little weaker on the bottom end. I use 10 inch convertors in each so idle to 3500RPM is a moot point. 400 SBC setups like large open intakes, so that is why I use them.

Intake selection depends on where u want ur power range to be. If your looking for and idle-5500 type intake , go with the stealth intake by weiand. However if ur running a large converter and are looking for a power range of 3000-7000 deff. go with either victor jr intake , or a weinand team g intake.

In my experiance , i would stay away from dual plane manifolds. I have always gotten better results w/ the single plane setups, unless ur running a stock converter, than u mite want the torque increase w/ the dual plane..
