What Kind Of Cam is This?

I pulled this cam out of my SBC and am trying to figure out the specs on it. The stamped numbers on it are CWC I5 1539.

Some more info.

On the timing gear side it is stamped CMC and CWC.
On the oil pump gear side it is stamped I5 1539 or 15 1539.

I really need to know at least if this is OEM or an aftermarket cam. The specs would be nice too.

The CMC likely is "Camshaft Machine Company" Non of that stuff will ID the cam grind or specs for ya. CMC makes mass produced stock GM and generic replacement perfomance cams. Was owned by Crane Cams, then Federal Mogul. Who knows this week.
You can get a good idea of what it is by measureing the major and minor diameters of 1 intake and 1 exhaust lobe. Subtract the Minor from the Major and multiply the result by 1.5. Will tell you the lift at the valve. From that you can make a good guestimate of the duration. eg .395" in .410" ex is a stock GM 327-350 ci SBC "929" cam or generic replacement used in most stock 350 small blocks 195-203@.050 112LSA.
.447" .447" is a good old 327-350hp L-79 "151" cam or replacement copy.

Measaure and calculate the valve lift and find it in this list of generic and stock replacement SBC hyd cams. There is a 95% chance its one of these.

Thanx. I just scattered this sbc and trying to figure out whats all in it. This cam is a little worn anyway, so I guess I have a new paper weight.
