What kind of a SICK individual would ?!?
What kind of a SICK individual would take a meager little granny type Rambler and turn it into a GASSER anyway?!? Oh, that would be me -- OddRodder!! Why? Because I'm warped!! I finally got all of the suspension work done and it is back on all fours now!
 For those that don't know-- a 68' chevy van axle up front and a 10 bolt chevy rearend with 3.73's and a posi out back! Some fancy chrome ladder bars too! Just a few more things to hook up (park brake, proportioning valve, new gear grease) and then it is on to the FUN stuff!! The long rod chevy 327 with vortec heads and the close ratio ford toploader 4 speed matted with a lakewood adapter bellhousing!! I AM SO STOKED!!!!!!!!! Here are some pics., I'd like any feed back (pos. or neg.)!!

Yeah Dutch, it was a 2 door to begin with. I bought it as a 90,000 mile original granny car about 2 years ago. The pics. of it originally are in my OLD photo album (pretty interesting) and the way it was last summer (with moon discs) in my new album!! Even with the moon discs it turned some heads though!!

Not so odd a few rambler gassers were at englishtown durning the 70s running gas class,looks great ,also mid 1964 jungle jim ran a 396 studie lark.

Late 60s/early 70s there was a guy from the Milwaukee area that had a 58 Rambler running a 327 Chevy with a Man-a-Fre intake and a 4 speed. It was his daily driver.
 1966/1969 my buddy Don had a Competition Orange 60 Studebaker Lark with 394 Olds/Hydrostick power.

I LOVE IT !!!
A friend of mine had a 396 powered '60 Lark back in the day. I tried in vain to buy it off him after he pulled the 396. He moved away years ago and I lost contact with him. Don't know what ever became of the Lark, just that I didn't get it.

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to get the fenderwell headers on to fill the gap behind the tires!!(I hope that the Eastwood coating holds up well) Thank God that no one manufactures chrome zoomies any more, I would probably buy a set!!
Rat Fink (on the dash) says that he likes the new stance!!
