What Motor

Was Wondering If Anyone Had An Idea Of What Motor Would Work Best In Our 49 Panel Just Looking For A Good Daily Driver With A Little Kick.

That depends on how much $ you are willing to spend. It is very hard to beat money wise a GM Performance Parts engine.

I agree with Vince. ZZ4 crate engines kick rather nicely.

You didn't say '49 panel "what". If your budget doesn't warrant a crate motor, lots of later model V-8's and related transmissions will give you what you want for a daily driver. I'd drop them in together and not have to mess with adapters, etc.

Sorry, didn't see the pics. Still, I'd try to find an Impala or something like that and get the engine and trans, and related wiring harness. You might look at some older junk yards, or in the classifieds and find something similar that is non-computer.

Chevy, GMC, or Ford, or Dodge? lol SBC power would be the the most abundant, and an easier installation.

Like most of us if you are on a budget I would look on craigslist for a doner car...depends on how good your existing frame rails are but there are a number of aftermarket options for the chassis..
