What is really changed on my front end?

Well, that was not a personal statement, first off! :-) I was told the front clip of the truck I just bought was from a camero. Obviously the hood and fenders were not, so what is usually changed on something like that? Just the frame parts, or is there other parts with that?

when someone says "clip", they are usually talking about a frame cut from firewall forward with suspension, ps if applicable. That truck came with a solid axle from the factory, and the usual upgrade is to clip the front of various vehicles and weld it to yours.

Just the front portion of the frame is changed so you have IFS and modern brakes and steering..

And just to add, the CamAro clip is a favorite for these conversions because it is easily unbolted as a unit from the donor car.
