What ring gear works with 700R4 & 350?
I hear there are two "flywheels" that work with 700R4 and 350 Chevy engine. I just bought a used 700R4, a 92 Camero.... I did not get the ring gear and some other parts, the output shaft, the inspection cover.... How many teeth are on the gear? I have a ring gear sitting in the garage.... Only way I know how to tell is bolt it on and see if the starter makes it go... is there some other way?

The two flwheels are 153 and 168 tooth. You must combine the proper starter with the appropriate flywheel.
