What rod/main bearing sizes on a 90' 305?

Rebuilding a 305 that I got from a buddy out of a 90' camaro RS and we pulled the crank off and the bearings looked a little scored so were going to replace all the bearings while it is out (cam bearings didn't look bad at all) and I was wondering how do I know what size I should get? I'm assuming I should just get std sized 2.1/large journal bearings but wanted to make sure by asking first, or if I should get undersized bearings since the engine previously had 175k miles on it?

Thanks for any help!

You cannot "assume" bearing sizes as even factory bearings can be over/undersize. Look closely at the backside of the original bearings. They will indicate what bearings were in it before teardown. Small print usually, date of bearing manufacture, type of bearing/part no. plus undersize. This is not always the case as replacement bearings are sometimes inked not stamped.

To be correct. You need to have crank size checked by machine shop or somebody that can correctly read a mic.

Alright, I have a few mic's that I have had to use to measure like the valve stem seals already and proved to be pretty accurate, but I wasn't sure how the size that I read correlates to the sizes I see listed with the bearings which most of the time just have the undersize listed and not the exact size, or either that is the size of the inside of the bearing and not outside, etc. I guess I could always check the manufacturers website though for that info.

I will go take a look at the bearings in a little bit and see if I can find anything on them, thanks for the help so far.
