What happened to your stainless rockers? I've had very good performance results out of Cat brand stainless rockers. No mangles so far.

Get some ARP rocker locks. Some screw in studs aren't long enough for the roller rockers and can cause damage to the poly locks when tightening also.

Dont beleive what you hear about aluminum rockers.I borrowed a set of Harland Sharps a couple of years ago, they had been on a big block rally truck, and they had seen some extremely hard useage. Some of them had chunks missing where valvetrain damage had occured,it looked like the pushrods had hit some of them.I used them for a couple of weeks with no problems, although they were very noisy.I now use Crane Pro Gold rocker arms and I am very pleased with them.
