What search engine do you use if any?

I've noticed that quite a few people and not just on here but on other sites as well never use search engines to research anything. They tend to post and have everyone do the work for them. Most seem to be newbies. They first jump on a site and ask where they can buy a master cylinder for a 1932 Rolls Canardly and expect to come back to the thread and have 40 replies of where to find it. When 9 out of 10 times the person doing the research for them jumped on a search engine and found the item they were looking for.I don't mind looking things up or researching but sometimes that individual could do their own research. I know by asking that some people might just have that master cylinder for the Rolls Canardly in their basement. This in mind I would like to know what search engines other people on this site use. Myself I use http://www.ixquick.com/ This site allows the person to click on a find and it opens it up in another window allowing the user to go back and click on another find. You can have multiple windows open at the same time. Maybe if we get enough different ones Jon can post them all together so they would be at everyones fingertips at all times. Just a thought.

I use a cool little program called 'WebFerret'.
But as far as search engines go I useGoogle, Webcrawler ,Momma, or Dogpile.
BTW...I am on a paid 2 week shutdown...nan na nan na...

Kevin, you're probably right about people not knowing how to do internet searches, I've answered a few questions myself. I like google the best, very fast and thorough, and allows a person to narrow searches very easily. Dan

Kevin, I'm with you on that one. Not only don't they search on any other search engine they don't even look through past posts. I'm with the majority I use Google and msn. Google give a bit more insight into the page(s) that was found, but I'm going to check out these others that folks have posted :D

Google. Since its owned by Yahoo! they have a significantly larger amount of searchable websites than any other search engine. But it is definitely easier to read and is more organize than Yahoo!. Google is also homepage, so when you open browser, (|) is already on the search field so you can just type. Very helpful and speedy.
