what should i do

I am in the middle of a project and have ran into a small problem. I am using a 1985 chevy S10 frame for the foundation of my hot rod truck which is a 48' chevy pickup. i found kits to and ways to make it fit onto this frame but what im worried about is the rear end. I am putting a 383 chevy stroker motor in it and don't think the rear end will hold up to the power. since there has been so many v8 swaps into s10's i was wondering what you guys use for rear ends. i know i could go with a custom built one but dont really have the funds for it i was hoping for something that i could maybe get out of a salvage yard for a reasonable price. maybe a camaro rear or something like that is what i was thinking. please help!!!

From what I understand, the preference is to get the toughest rear end available stock, which is the rear end from a 6 cylinder, automatic (4x4?) blazer.

I have helped out a friend with an Astro that has been converted to a mildly worked over 350, and he hasn't had any trouble with the rear axle (although his rear springs and rear axle mounts are cracking!). He has also chewed up 2 transmissions...
