What should reupholstering bucket seats cost?

Roughly...I know this is a pretty broad question. I have a pair of cloth buckets that came out of a late-80's prelude I may put in my pickup. They're grey, and they need to be black.

As I call around to different shops, what's a fair price for reupholstering them? Unless there's an easy way to dye them?

I've also been keeping my eye on craigslist and local ebayers for seats as well...thinking that may be my cheaper option.

Thanks!

That is a pretty broad question. The price depends on what fabric you pick, how many repairs need to be made underneath, if there are headrests and or armrests that need to be done , how elaborate the seat is, and how long it takes to do the work. A pair of seats can be anywhere from $200 a seat to $500 a seat. If you think that's pricey, ask your car dealer what replacement covers cost from the factory. That is real sticker shock! You will definitely get off cheaper on E-bay if you can find what you want.
