What size bolts to hold a 390 on a stand?

Im about to start rebuilding a ford 390FE from a 68 Stepside, I need to know what size bolts i need to go into the block on the stand. I apologize if this isnt the right section but im new.
Also will my 750pound stand hold it? someone told me it was 650lbs with everything on it

Ford usually used 7/16". That's what is holding my 460 to it's stand..

750 LBS stand will hold it if it's a 4 wheeler. if it's a 3 wheeler, I would not reccomend it..

7/16-14 thread is common course thread in 7/16" and what it would be..

Till it feels tight. 5-6 threads probably. just buy the right length or longer. you can set your depth with washers or a larger nut.
