What spray gun for me?

Hello everyone.
This is my first post. If i am looking in the wrong place for help please just tell me.
Ok so i live in New Zealand. And im not really here about hotrods just spray guns. I have bought myself a spray gun its a 7 piece set, The name of it is called Spear and jackson.
I bought it for $50 here in New Zealand. Now im not sure how to even use it and what kind of paints ,thinners, lacquers to use and what kind of air compressor and how big and what kind of body equipment eg masks and do i need to cover up stuff in my garage with plastic so they dont get paint on them? or any other specs. And possibly if you guys know any good deals or good guns that are fairly cheap here in New Zealand which i could buy could you tell me. Our biggest site here is www.trademe.co.nz.
Thanks alot everyone i would really want to learn alot.
Oh and btw im only 16 and know nothing

Its kind of late at night right now, but heres a hodge podge of stuff, http://www.1969supersport.com some on masks, air compressors, some different tools used to put floor pans in, this should hold you until some of the others get on here in the morning.
