What is that thing?
Hey guys I am trying to get some electrical things sorted out with this truck so I can have a better understanding of it. Its an 83 Chevy Silverado. I am trying to identify a black device mounted to the steering column, on the under side of it. It appears to be 2 thin flat electrical connectors, connected together, and it has what looks like a heat sink(for lack of better word) on it. I have looked on a schematic and in the Haynes and not sure what is or what it does, so I havent had much success finding out what it is.

It is the delay module for the wipers.
